Updown Farmhouse is a 17th-century house set in the Kent countryside, just outside Deal. Although, many places we’ve travelled to in the world have held our hearts, it was important for us to have ease, calm and easy accesbility for friends and family to join us on this day, and Updown is perfect for this. It’s surrounded by gardens, old stone walls, and open fields. The vibe is relaxed and low-key — wildflowers, a coastal breeze and wine in the garden. The lawn near the house is great for kids to play, and there’s plenty of space to roam, sit with a drink, or just take a quiet moment away from the party. Seating will be dotted around the garden throughout the day, and there are accessible loos on-site.
